Lynden Lyman built his career on successfully collaborating with state unclaimed property staff and the private sector professionals supporting state programs. As the Unclaimed Advisor sm, Lynden continues to work closely with a network of thought leaders, each of whom is respected in the unclaimed property community:

David Epstein is an attorney who has specialized in unclaimed property law and administration for more than 30 years. He is the founder of the Unclaimed Property Clearinghouse and has served as special counsel or consultant to more than 40 state unclaimed property programs, as well as special counsel to NAUPA. He served as a reporter to the Uniform Law Commission in the drafting of the 1981 Uniform Unclaimed Property Act, as well as an advisor on the 1995 Uniform Unclaimed Property Act. David is the author of the legal treatise Unclaimed Property Law and Reporting Forms and is a recipient of NAUPA’s lifetime achievement award.

Robert Krenkowitz is an attorney who has practiced in unclaimed property law since 1974. He formerly served as a Deputy Attorney General and Senior Deputy Attorney General for the State of New Jersey, representing the state in litigation, appeals, and legislative matters relative to unclaimed property. Bob chaired NAUPA’s Uniform Law Revision Committee, whose draft was utilized in the 1995 Uniform Unclaimed Property Act. Bob has served as special counsel to several state unclaimed property programs, and works closely with the ACS Unclaimed Property Clearinghouse. He is a contributing editor to the legal treatise Unclaimed Property Law and Reporting Forms and is a recipient of NAUPA’s lifetime achievement award.

Lorin Nielsen has over 22 years of experience in working with state unclaimed property programs. He served as Utah Deputy State Treasurer, and was administrator of the state's unclaimed property program. Contemporaneously, he served on various NAUPA committees and was president of NAUPA 1990-1991. Subsequently, Lorin was the State Liaison for the Unclaimed Property Clearinghouse. He has continued to work with states on administrative, operational and other issues, and is an editorial assistant for the legal treatise Unclaimed Property Law and Reporting Forms.

Paula Smith is an attorney who has worked in the field of unclaimed property since 1982. She served as administrator of the Texas unclaimed property program under Treasurer Ann W. Richards, and held a number of offices within NAUPA, including president. Paula also served as an Observer for the 1995 Uniform Unclaimed Property Act, an officer of the Unclaimed Property Holder Liaison Council (now UPPO), and as CEO of the Clearinghouse Reporting Service. She is a frequent lecturer and author on unclaimed property, and contributed the unclaimed minerals chapter to the legal treatise Unclaimed Property Law and Reporting Forms. Paula is a recipient of NAUPA’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
